The Executive Director of the Casper Community Greenhouse Project, a non-profit whose mission is to build greenhouses, educate and foster community and the Project Director of Fresh Foods Wyoming an L3c company whose mission is to provide access to fresh and local foods, through CSA, Farmers Markets and local deliveries.

Service to community has always been a foundation in both personal and professional life.  Born in Minnesota to a farming family, moved to Casper in 1969.  Married with one son who graduated Medical school May of 2017 and has graduated residency in Casper (July of 2020) at UW/Wyoming Family Practice in Family Practice with a focus on Preventative Medicine and Nutrition.

With over 40 years of experience in sales, marketing and hospitality she has found her skills bring a unique perspective to the non-profit world.  She has been the driving force behind many local food activities in Casper, WY including coordinating low-income elementary school greenhouse development and operation; operating a local CSA program and working with the State and Natrona County School District’s Farm-to-School Program. She is a very active founding member of the Wyoming Food Coalition: WY Food Matters, the Wyoming Farmers Market Association and WY Farm-to-Plate stakeholder network.  She is currently active and involved with her local community, as a member of the Chamber of Commerce, (agriculture committee), Fresh Foods Wyoming, and Wyoming Healthy Eating and has been certified as a Jr. Master Gardner Trainer.

Her dedication to local foods has helped her develop a statewide network of key producers and buyers who share the vision of a robust local food system in Wyoming.
